AI Song Checker

Pure AI Radio was created as an Internet radio streaming service that focuses on songs created by AI Creators using AI technology like Udio and Suno (and others) to create music and songs. They join up with Pure AI Radio as a means to put their works in front of audiences world wide that follow AI generated music.

With that said we at Pure AI Radio asses all songs that are submitted for consideration and we determine (not the creator) whether or not a song is sufficiently AI created or not. Thete is a fine line of acceptance. Songs that measure 100% AI created on our checker are not acceptable as they have zero human intervention and are purely generated by AI tools. An example would be going into Suno and placing a prompt 'Make me a pop song' and pressing the button, Suno will create a pop song that is 100% AI created. It is commonly known as 'AI Slop' and Pure AI Radio doesnt accept that level of AI generation.

So what are our acceptance levels? - Songs that score between 75-90% are automatically accepted as AI generated (with human elements) and are forwarded for processing to our playlist. Songs that score 50-74% on our AI checker get flagged to a human to listen to and asses. The song is then either rejected or passed by a human being. Songs that fall below the 50% threshold are more human created (musicians and studio recordings) and show little AI intervention. These songs are disqualified by Pure AI Radio and will not be included. Our assessment levels will be as follows:

AI-GENERATED, 75% OR HIGHER SCORE

Tracks showing strong statistical evidence of AI generation, or containing verified AI generator credentials, will normally qualify for playlist consideration, subject to our usual quality and content requirements.

UNCERTAIN, 50% TO 74% SCORE

Tracks within this range may contain a mixture of AI-generated and human-created elements. These songs will be manually reviewed by the Pure AI Radio team before a final decision is made.

HUMAN-MADE, BELOW 50% SCORE

Tracks assessed as predominantly human-created, with insufficient evidence of AI generation, will not meet the Pure AI Radio submission criteria and will not be accepted.

WHY THIS POLICY IS NECESSARY

Pure AI Radio was created specifically to support and promote music produced predominantly through artificial intelligence. We are not a general independent music station, and there are many other radio stations available to musicians wishing to promote traditionally recorded music. Our focus is exclusively on AI-generated music and the creators and virtual artists behind it.

Pure AI Radio currently has more than 500 songs in its online music library. Following recent reviews, we believe approximately 15% of the library contains tracks that are either borderline under our criteria above or appear to be predominantly human-recorded material.

For this reason, we will be introducing more regular checks of both new submissions and selected tracks already within our library.

INFORMATION FOR MUSICIANS AND PERFORMERS

Musicians, bands, vocalists, and traditional recording artists who use platforms such as Suno Studio or other AI tools to enhance their original recordings should ensure that the finished track still has a sufficiently strong AI-generated profile. Simply using an AI tool during part of the production process does not automatically mean that a song will qualify as AI-generated music under Pure AI Radio's criteria.

Before submitting a track, we strongly recommend testing it through a reputable AI music detector. Your song should receive a result of at least 55% to be considered for further assessment. A result below 50% is unlikely to qualify for the station.

Please exercise caution when selecting online AI detection services. Some websites may provide unreliable results or attempt to sell unnecessary subscriptions. We recommend using free testing options where possible and avoiding subscription commitments unless you have independently verified the service.

Pure AI Radio currently uses SongCheck as one of its screening tools. Detection results are used as a guide and may be supported by manual assessment, file information, production details, and any available evidence of AI provenance.

All playlist decisions remain at the discretion of Pure AI Radio management. Passing an AI detection assessment does not guarantee acceptance, as tracks must also comply with our music quality, content, technical, and station-format requirements.
